A resident of Pskov was detained for the attempted murder of a roommate at a sports club

In Pskov, a 34-year-old man was detained who attacked his roommate with a knife at a sports club, inflicted several wounds on her and fled. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The attack took place on the evening of February 24 at the sports club where the victim works as an administrator. The investigation believes that there was a conflict between the couple on the grounds of jealousy. During the quarrel, the man stabbed the girl in the head, neck and chest area, and then disappeared.

The girl was taken to the hospital. The UK does not provide information about the victim's condition, but notes that "she is receiving the necessary medical care."

A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Attempted murder," writes Pskov news feed. The person involved has been detained, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure for him will be resolved in the near future.

On January 12, a resident of Balakhna, Nizhny Novgorod region stabbed his wife and killed his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The suspect stabbed his wife multiple times and hit his daughter on the head with a blunt object. They died from their injuries.
