"This factor often causes an acceleration of driver fatigue at the wheel, loss of concentration. For example, in Moscow, the Traffic Management Center considers almost 60 thousand road signs out of 900 thousand posted superfluous, therefore, according to the new GOST, they will be dismantled in the coming years," the auto expert said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

According to Migal, the most important thing is that the reform does not bring chaos to traffic. He added that the latest changes in the rules of the road (SDA), which came into force in March 2023, regarding the passage of roundabouts, misled drivers and made such sections of roadways even more dangerous.

To avoid such incidents, before legalizing a new initiative, it is worth conducting test tests and analyzing the reaction of motorists to the changes, the auto expert believes. This is what is planned to be done in the Republic of Crimea — to pilot the implementation of GOST in one of the regions of the peninsula.
