A new retirement service, Life Situation, has been launched on the Gosuslugi portal. This was announced on February 25 in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.

"With the help of the service, you can apply for a pension, learn about social support measures and other benefits for pensioners," the device was quoted as saying in TASS.

Thanks to him, the number of documents and visits to departments is significantly reduced.

There are plans to expand the functionality of the service so that citizens who will reach retirement age in the near future will be able to receive information related to retirement without proactively applying.

Residents of the country will also be able to issue an electronic pensioner's certificate on the portal, which will allow them to visit cultural institutions for free, receive a discount at a pharmacy and use preferential transportation.
