The results of the "Green Offset" environmental literacy competition were summed up in Moscow

In Moscow summed up the results of a large-scale competition to assess the level of environmental literacy among schoolchildren and students "Green test". This was reported to Izvestia on February 25.

It is noted that for the first time testing was carried out in two stages. 78,000 students from all over the country took part in the first distance learning event. 67 people who solved more difficult Olympiad tasks went through the face-to-face round.

"Everyone has already realized that we are going nowhere from this direction. Everything that will be created in the future, any production facilities will be created according to new environmental standards. This army of professionals must undergo some training, starting at a young age. This is what we are doing," said Dmitry Kobylki, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

Also, the winners of the Green Competition received not only prizes, but also additional points, which will be taken into account when applying to leading universities in the country. In addition, students will receive internships and additional educational programs.

Earlier in the day, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said that registration for the annual Moscow Student Spring Festival, in which students of urban universities will show musical and dance performances, theatrical productions, their own films and other works.
