Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk was injured while skiing with his grandchildren. The head of the Polish government spoke about the incident on the social network X on February 25.

He posted a video where he stands on two crutches, while the prime minister's left leg is fixed with an orthosis.

"It was supposed to be a dream weekend. I've been planning them for six months. I spent two days skiing with my grandchildren, and I had to teach them. The grandchildren on the slope said: "Show me how you skate, Grandpa." Well, I showed it," Tusk said.

The head of government added that he would work on crutches for several days and was not going to take sick leave. He also advised citizens to always check their skis and warm up before skiing.

"You don't have to listen to all the prime minister's advice, but I really ask you to take this one to heart," Tusk urged.

Earlier, in October, Brazilian President Lula da Silva suffered a head injury in an unfortunate fall at home. On December 10, this incident resulted in a brain hemorrhage, doctors performed two surgeries on Silva. The President discharged from the hospital on December 15th.
