Moskvich raised car prices

Moskvich Automobile Plant has published price lists for crossovers and liftbacks for the 2025 model year. Compared with "last year's" cars, the models increased in price by from 65 thousand to 97 thousand rubles, according to " Magazine".

The Moskvich 3 crossover in its initial configuration with a 136-horsepower 1.5 turbo engine and a manual transmission cost 1.7 million rubles last year, while the current model year version turned out to be 65 thousand rubles more expensive. A modification with a CVT now costs not 1.77 million, but 1.87 million rubles. The maximum Comfort package went up in price from 1.9 million to 2 million rubles.

The Moskvich 6 liftback is offered in four equipment levels, both with the same 136-horsepower engine combined with a CVT, and with a 174-horsepower modification that works with a robotic gearbox. The increase amounted to 77 thousand rubles for all modifications. Now the model costs from 2.28 million to 3.19 million rubles.

Price lists for the electric Moskvich 3e for the 2025 model year have not yet been published. The crossover of the previous year costs from 4.1 million rubles.

On January 9, it was reported that by the end of 2024 in Russia more than 23 thousand Moskvich cars were sold, including more 2.4 thousand Moskvich 6 liftbacks and over 1.3 thousand Moskvich 3e electric crossovers. Back in August 2024, Maxim Zlatokrylets, commercial director of the Moscow automobile plant, stated that Moskvich href="https://iz.ru/1743354/2024-08-15/avtozavod-moskvich-prodal-12-tys-mashin-pri-plane-27-tys-za-god " target="_blank">adheres to the plan for the volume of sales of cars in 2024 at the level of 27 thousand units.

Before that, on December 20, last year, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant postponed the start of sales of a new seven-seat crossover with an index of 8. The model is scheduled to enter the market in February 2025.
