Almost 70% of the parents surveyed would like to take their children to modern playgrounds with interactive equipment — with touch screens or musical accompaniment. In addition, safety was the most important criterion for 78.6% of respondents, according to the results of a study conducted by Moscow developer FORMA and Yandex Real Estate, which were reviewed by Izvestia on February 26.

At the same time, 56.7% of Russians noted that a well—developed children's infrastructure is a key factor in choosing housing. At the same time, 35.3% do not consider this indicator crucial when choosing an apartment for purchase.

According to 38.4% of parents surveyed, children are particularly interested in interactive playgrounds where modern technologies are used for games — touch screens, sound and voice accompaniment for conducting and statistics of the game. They also see practical benefits in such an inventory. Thus, 65.3% of private parents of the study believe that these technological options contribute to the development of motor skills and cognitive functions of the child.

Respondents find the more standard inventory less relevant, but 33.1% would still like to see sandboxes in the game area, and 20.9% would like to see load balancers. Classic swings (65.6%), trampolines (61.8%), slides (59.6%), obstacle courses (47.7%), carousels (46.2%) and playhouses (38.4%) are popular. Overall, 52% of Russians with children appreciate the variety of play equipment.

"According to our data, the share of new buildings suitable for preferential mortgages in Moscow and the Moscow region, with an initial payment of 20%, today it is 65%, with an initial payment of 50-82%. Next to each of the modern residential complexes that are suitable for family life, there are playgrounds on the project territory or within walking distance from it that meet the needs of modern parents," said Evgeny Belokurov, Commercial Director of Yandex Real Estate.

In addition, safety became the most important criterion for an ideal playground for parents (78.6%). Confidence in the playing space is increased by solutions such as the absence of sharp corners in the inventory and on the site as a whole (65.4%), the use of special floor coverings (57.2%) and the use of safe materials (55.4%).

"The diverse and modern solutions of gaming equipment and its unusual design really attract children to walk outside, but it is much more important to ensure safety on such a playground, because it is from this factor that parents themselves start," said Alexander Kim, deputy head of the FORMA development company.

Another important factor for parents is location. In 59.5% of cases, respondents noticed that the most convenient location of the site is the courtyard space of the house. For 56.2% of respondents, it is preferable that it be a courtyard area without cars. Environmental friendliness is equally important for the survey participants (53.9%).

On January 19, Elena Kosheleva, Director of Sberbank Insurance projects, told Izvestia how make tubing safe and enjoyable for children and adults. She noted that children should ride under the supervision of a parent, and the youngest should only ride with him. At the same time, before sliding down, you need to make sure that the path is clear: there should be no people or obstacles at the bottom and on the slope along the descent path. Besides, keeping the distance between the skaters is a prerequisite.
