Tagansky District Court Moscow has appointed TikTok Pte. Ltd. an administrative fine of 3.5 million rubles. This was reported on February 25 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The platform was found guilty of failing to fulfill the obligation to monitor the social network and take measures to restrict access to information (Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).

It clarifies that the prohibited content concerned the involvement of minors in committing illegal acts.
