In Chita, almost 650 liters of alcoholic beverages were seized from illegal circulation in 2024. The total amount of confiscation amounted to 554 thousand rubles, said the head of the city Interior Ministry Alexei Golatenko during a meeting of the Committee on Local Self-Government in the City Duma on Tuesday, February 25.

On March 1, amendments to the law of the Zabaikalsky Krai, which set additional restrictions on the sale of alcohol, will come into force.
