Shmygal named the amount for the reconstruction of Ukraine in the next 10 years

Ukraine will need $524bn to rebuild over the next decade, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said on 25 February, citing a report by the World Bank.
He noted that the new data exceeds the previous estimate of $38 billion, so the reconstruction should be a project of global scale, which should start now.
"I am grateful to the World Bank for understanding the urgency of reconstruction projects. In particular, the report already now identifies 348 priority projects totaling $17 billion," the Ukrainian Prime Minister emphasized in his Telegram channel.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on Shmygal's statement. She drew attention to the fact that the amount required for Ukraine's recovery is equal to the country's debt.
"A fortunate coincidence. Re-credit the stolen?", - wrote in her Telegram-channel Zakharova.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump called the question about the prospects for US aid to Ukraine's reconstruction strange. He said that Washington "has already contributed" to the country in the amount of about $350 billion.
