The Russian Consulate General in Marseille, where several explosive devices were thrown the day before, is working in normal mode. This was reported to "Izvestia" on February 25 by Russian Consul General in Marseille Stanislav Oransky.

"Today we are working as usual. Now there is a reception of Russian citizens at this time, everything is in the usual mode," - said Oransky.

The Russian consul general added that French law enforcers detained two suspects in the evening of the same day in the center of Marseille during a pro-Ukrainian rally.

"What is known is that both attackers are French citizens," he noted.

According to Oransky, the place for the attack was not chosen by chance, explosive devices were thrown into the parking lot of official cars.

"Last week, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service published a warning about possible terrorist attacks against Russian foreign institutions, so we preliminarily moved all these cars inside the consulate's territory," he specified.

The attack, Oransky continued, took place early in the morning, when employees were just getting ready for the working day. The street was empty and no one was hurt.

A total of three devices were thrown on the territory of the Russian diplomatic mission, two of them detonated, the third was neutralized by the bomb squad that arrived on the scene. According to the preliminary conclusion of police experts, the explosive devices contained aluminum acid.
