Conditions for obtaining hunting permits will be simplified in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the period for applying for a hunting license may be increased. Instead of three weeks, it will be 30 days. The bill is being considered by the deputies of the District Duma.

Thanks to the adoption of this project, hunters will have more time to prepare the necessary documents for authorization, says IA "Ura.ru" with reference to the Committee for Environmental Protection.

In addition, it is planned to establish uniform terms for obtaining licenses for hunting bears, moose, lynx, sables, badgers and otters. It will be possible to do it from February 1 to March 31. The agency explains that on these animals there is a limit on extraction, for each species the documents are submitted in different periods. The bill should simplify the process.

The bill is scheduled to be considered on February 27.
