In Ufa, doctors removed a worm from a woman's eye

Ophthalmologists in a hospital in the city of Ufa removed a helminth from the lower eyelid of a 40-year-old woman, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported on February 25 in Telegram-channel.

The publication notes that the woman went to a medical facility with complaints of "movement" in the lower eyelid area of the left eye. Doctors conducted an examination, during which they found a formation of a twisted shape. The patient said that it had been moving since it appeared in the eye.

Doctors successfully performed a woman, removing the parasite. Now the patient will have further examination in an infectious disease hospital, the press service reports.
