The permafrost cave in Zheleznovodsk has been opened up again

Unknown persons again penetrated into the Cave of permafrost in Zheleznovodsk (Stavropol Territory). This was reported by the press service of the resort administration on Tuesday, February 25.

The entrance to the cave is closed by a metal door, locked, which vandals once again sawed off.

According to StavropolMedia IA, the natural monument was locked in October 2024 by court decision. There is no technical possibility to install cameras near the cave. The local authorities plan to organize a guard post.

Earlier in February it was reported that on one of the streets of Inozemtsevo village in Zheleznovodsk after 30 years will open an automobile passage. The road leads to the museum, for many years it was blocked with concrete blocks.
