Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. According to the Defense Ministry, the Russian army struck with high-precision weapons and drones at the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields, the goals were achieved.

Over the day, the losses of Ukrainian forces in the area of responsibility of the units of the "Center" group of troops amounted to up to 305 servicemen and seven armored combat vehicles.

In addition, Russian air defenses shot down five JDAM guided aerial bombs, 23 Vampire multiple rocket launcher (MLRS) shells, and 97 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The Russian troops hit the production sites of strike drones, as well as the enemy's temporary deployment points in 144 areas.

In total, 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 44,431 UAVs, 596 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,734 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,521 MLRS combat vehicles, 22,007 field artillery and mortars, 32,099 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
