The Kremlin is impressed by the prompt reaction of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who apologized for Belgrade's support for the anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine adopted by the UN General Assembly (UNGA). Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on February 25.

"Undoubtedly, it was heard and accepted. Technical errors happen, such a prompt reaction of the head of state, it is very imposing to us," Peskov said at a briefing in response to a question about how the Kremlin viewed the situation.

On February 24, the UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine. The draft was supported by 93 countries, 18 states voted against it and 65 countries abstained from voting. Vucic later said that the country's representatives voted for the adoption of the document by mistake and apologized to citizens, admitting his guilt in the incident.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova addressed Serbian citizens on February 25, noting that she was confident in their loyalty. She emphasized that Russia feels the love and support of Serbs, and everything else can be endured and Nazism will be defeated. Zakharova published these words in her Telegram channel in Serbian.
