In the Urals, the head of a settlement, a deputy and his son were detained on suspicion of murder

In the Chelyabinsk region, police detained the head of a rural settlement, a district deputy and his son. All three are suspected of kidnapping and murder with particular cruelty. This was reported on February 25 by the press service of the SU of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.

"The investigative Department of the IC of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk region initiated criminal proceedings against the head of the Rymnik rural settlement of the Breda municipal district of the Chelyabinsk region, a deputy of the assembly of deputies of the Breda municipal district and his son", - follows from the statement of the press service of the Department in Telegram-channel.

According to the investigation, in the evening of February 23, the three detainees were in a state of alcoholic intoxication, and, acting by prior conspiracy, kidnapped a 46-year-old local resident, after which they killed. It is specified that earlier they had a conflict.

The detainees are suspected of committing crimes under par. "a, v, g" part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping"), "c, d, g" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). At the moment the question of bringing charges is being decided. Law enforcement agencies continue to collect evidentiary data.

Earlier, on February 3, the Investigative Committee of Russia reported about the detention of the head of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Nikolai Morgunov, suspected of committing crimes under articles on participation in a gang and robbery. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Morgunov passed data on the city's enterprises, nominal owners and financial situation of wealthy citizens to the members of the criminal group in order to organize kidnappings of people and property, as well as to extort money as ransom for release.
