It is necessary to introduce innovative technologies at production facilities in order to increase labor efficiency, this is one of the main tasks of Russia. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on February 25 at a meeting with Sergei Serebryakov, Director of St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (PTZ).

The head of the government pointed out that it is necessary to train young personnel, and without the participation of companies like PTZ it is impossible to create a system of training in the advanced engineering school. At the same time, it is important to synchronize the interaction of educational organizations with customer enterprises. Educational institutions should be deeply integrated into the companies. Employees, in turn, should see what kind of personnel they are, who will come to the company in the future.

"Digital solutions, platformization, this is what the president [Russia's Vladimir Putin] always talks about, and new technologies are the point of why it is necessary to introduce new innovative solutions to raise productivity," Mishustin said.

He pointed out that this is now one of the main tasks set by the head of state, their solution will allow to achieve national development goals.

Serebryakov, in turn, said that PTZ has developed a system of continuous practice. Operating under the "Professionalism" program, the company cooperates with the Kotin Academy of Mechanical Engineering. J. Y. Kotin. Its students can go out for practical training in production shops.

In addition, students who achieved high results during the internship are employed by the company, which allows them to continue their education and receive a salary.

The Director of PTZ added that the competencies of the employees are constantly expanding. For example, operators of numerically controlled machine tools need programming skills. Moreover, the emergence of digital solutions at the plant makes labor more productive.

Earlier, on February 6, Putin said that it is important to ensure the superiority of knowledge-intensive technologies in various spheres in the Russian Federation. In addition, he recalled that last year he instructed the government to expand work on technical education, training of engineering personnel and skilled workers in priority areas of scientific and technological development.
