Kia Russia & CIS, after a long period of staff inactivity, has published two vacancies in Moscow. This was brought to the attention of the Telegram channel "Russian Car".

Thus, the company has started searching for a technical consultant and a specialist in dealer marketing. They are offered to work in the main office of the representative office of Kia, which is located at the metro station "Paveletskaya".

"Both applicants will have to deal with the support of still existing dealer contracts. Nothing directly points to the so-called "return of the brand to Russia", which is now much (but not quite reasonably) talked about," - noted in the publication of February 24.

The Korean media reported on February 14 that Hyundai Motor may consider the option of returning to the Russian market and may make a decision on it by the end of 2025. According to the Yonhap agency, the company may study the option of buying back the plant in St. Petersburg. In favor of such a development is evidenced by Hyundai's recent re-registration of the brand's trademark in Rospatent, the note noted. Later, on February 21, Hyundai Motor said that the concern is not currently working on entering the Russian market, while there are no steps in this direction.

As the Financial Times reported on February 22, Renault CEO Luca de Meo said that the company does not rule out a return to Russia. He said that buying out a controlling stake in AvtoVAZ is not a priority, but the brand's management is open to discussing business opportunities. The press service of the Russian company told Izvestia that it is not currently negotiating with Renault. Prospects for Renault's return to the Russian market are hardly good, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin shared.
