Near Omsk, a truck trailer drifted into the oncoming lane in front of a bus

A passenger minibus and a truck collided in the Omsk region, resulting in the death of one person, eight injured. This was reported by the press service of the UMVD of Russia in the Omsk region on February 25.

The accident occurred on the morning of February 25 on the highway Omsk - Muromtsevo. The truck took the trailer directly on the oncoming lane, which caused a collision with a passenger "GAZelle". After that, another heavy truck drove into the car "Lexus", which stopped to help the victims.

According to preliminary information, there were nine people in the passenger vehicle at the time of the accident. One of them died, and the rest were transferred to a medical institution.

A criminal case under part 3 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was initiated on the fact of the accident. The causes and circumstances of the accident are being established, the agency added.

February 24, two people were killed and one more injured in a collision between a car and a DAF truck on the federal highway "Kavkaz" in Armavir. According to the police, the accident occurred due to the fact that the driver of the former failed to maintain a safe distance and allowed a collision with the oncoming traffic.
