Search for missing Malaysian Airlines plane resumes in the Indian Ocean

The British company Ocean Infinity has decided to resume the search for flight MH370, which disappeared in March 2014. This was reported by the Australian portal 9News on February 25.
Ocean Infinity will survey about 15 thousand square kilometers of water area of the Indian Ocean in 1.5 thousand kilometers from the Australian city of Perth. This search will be more pinpointed than previous ones, which covered 200 thousand square kilometers.
The search will involve the British company's vessel Armada. It is specified that Ocean Infinity has concluded a contract with the government of Malaysia on the principle of "no finds - no fee". At the same time has not yet been determined in what jurisdiction will be analyzed the wreckage and black boxes of the plane, if they can be found.
The work of searchers will be complicated by the relief of the ocean floor, where there are underwater rocks and volcanoes.
The plane, which was flying flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, disappeared over the Indian Ocean on March 8, 2014. There were 239 people on board the airliner. Fragments of the airliner were subsequently found off the coast of Madagascar, as well as in Mozambique, but the bulk of them, as well as the crash site, could not be found. In addition, it was not possible to establish the exact cause of the disaster.
Later, on July 30, 2018, published the final report, which stated that during the search and rescue operation, experts made a number of mistakes that should be taken into account in the future.
Aviation expert Tim Termini suggested in July 2019 that the plane probably could have been hijacked. The intruder could have been one of the passengers or crew. In addition, the expert admitted that the crash of the plane could have been provoked in the ground services. Nevertheless, the main version is that the actions of the pilot led to the fall of the airliner. In February 2020, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott suggested that the flight could have disappeared because of the suicide of the pilot.
