Two playrooms were opened at the Sverdlovsk City Children's Hospital in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). Such spaces are being opened thanks to the support of the People's Front and the Charity Fund for Children of Donbass established by Joint Stock Bank ROSSIYA.

"We believe it is very important that children of different ages could find leisure here: both toddlers and older children. For this purpose, both psychologists and designers worked hard to develop the necessary concept. The achievements of our country are also presented here, so that children understand from an early age that they can be proud of their country," said Anna Eremenko, head of the regional branch of the Popular Front in the LNR.

According to Christina Fedoseyeva, director of the Charity Fund for Children of Donbass, the playrooms have a lot of toys and coloring books to help children occupy themselves while waiting for a doctor or just relax.

Viktoria Banchenko, Chief Doctor of the Sverdlovsk City Children's Hospital, added that such children's spaces will have a positive impact on the development and psychotherapy of children. They will be able to experience joyful emotions, which will contribute to their recovery.

At the moment, nine playrooms have already been opened in children's clinics and hospitals in the liberated territories, and more than 40 such spaces are planned to be created in total.

On January 22, the LNR Ministry of Health and the Popular Front opened a new children 's playroom in Luhansk City Children's Polyclinic No. 4. Natalia Pashchenko, Minister of Health of the region, emphasized the need for such spaces and stated that in this way every child will be able to find an activity to his or her liking, and taking care of children's emotional state will help create conditions for their early recovery.
