An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred in the Bay of Bengal. This was reported on February 25 on the website of the National Seismological Center of India.

The seismic event was registered at a depth of 10 km at 286 km east of the settlement of Puri, Odisha state. According to TASS, tremors from the earthquake were felt in the state of Odisha and in the coastal areas and the capital of Bangladesh. There is no information about casualties and destruction.

On February 17 in India there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 at a depth of 5 km. Then the earthquake affected Delhi, Noida, Indirapuram and other regions of the National Capital Region of India.
