Mi-28NM crew strikes at AFU armored vehicles in the Kursk border area


An army aviation crew on a Mi-28NM helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group has struck personnel and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region with air missiles. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 25.
In the course of the combat mission to support units of the "North" group of troops, the pilots carried out missile launches at specified coordinates.
After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps preventing the missiles from hitting the enemy's man-portable surface-to-air missile system (MANPADS).
The ministry specified that the advanced aircraft gunner confirmed the destruction of all AFU targets.
