Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova addressed Serbian citizens on February 25 and noted the love and devotion of the country's people towards Russia.

"We know that the Serbian people will not betray us. We read the echoes of your hearts, not indifferent and full of support. We feel the love of the people of Serbia. We will survive everything else. And we will win! Because Nazism must be stopped!" - Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel in Serbian.

The UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine on February 24. The project was supported by 93 countries, 18 states voted against the adoption, 65 countries abstained from voting. Later, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the country's representatives had voted in favor of the anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine at the UN by mistake. He also apologized to the citizens, admitting his guilt.
