Serbia voted in favor of the anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly by mistake. This was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the air of TV Happy on February 24.

"I think Serbia made a mistake today. <...> Serbia should have abstained. I have no one to blame but myself, as I did not pay enough attention to this issue," Vucic said.

The Serbian president also apologized to the citizens, noting that he admits his guilt, as he was probably tired and overloaded, so he did not have time to control everything

On February 24, the UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine. The draft was supported by 93 countries, 18 countries voted against the adoption, and 65 countries abstained from voting.
