Three people were injured as a result of a pipeline rupture in Nizhny Novgorod


Three people received burns as a result of a burst central heating pipeline in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported on February 24 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
"According to preliminary data, as a result of the occurred pipe bursting, several people received burns. They are currently receiving qualified medical assistance. Information on the number of victims is being specified," the agency said in a message in the Telegram-channel.
The regional prosecutor's office specified that the incident occurred in the evening of February 24 on Pushkin Street. Employees of the department are conducting a check.
December 12, 2024 it became known that 30 apartment buildings and 10 private houses were left without heat in the Oktyabrsky district of Novosibirsk. The cause was a defect in the pipeline with a diameter of 800 mm.
