Grammy winner Roberta Flack has died at the age of 88.


Roberta Flack, the famous American singer who performed the song Killing Me Softly, died at the age of 89. This was reported by the American magazine Variety on Monday, February 24, citing a statement from her representative.
"We are heartbroken that the magnificent Roberta Flack passed away this morning, February 24, 2025", - stated in the publication.

The singer was born in North Carolina in a family of musicians. She began playing the piano at the age of nine, and already at the age of 16 she entered Howard University in Washington and received a scholarship.
