The administration of US President Donald Trump has finally seen the true face of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was stated by Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya on February 24.

"The Republican administration that came to power, led by President Trump, has finally seen the true face <...> of the Ukrainian president," he said during a speech from the rostrum of the UN General Assembly.

He added that the American side also saw Zelensky's disinterest in his country. According to him, the Ukrainian president is holding on to power by all means and is afraid of elections.
