UN General Assembly adopts anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine

The UN General Assembly on Monday, February 24, adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine.
Ninety-three countries voted in favor of the draft prepared by the European Union (EU) and Ukraine. Eighteen states, including the USA, Israel and Hungary, voted against it.
The US representative to the UN, Dorothy Shea, said earlier in the day that the USA did not support the draft anti-Russian UN resolution. She noted that Washington also asked to withdraw it from the vote in favor of a neutral version authored by the United States.
