In Tomsk, two people have been identified, who according to preliminary data fired from air guns at the windows of the technical school. This was reported on February 24 in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tomsk region.

They noted that the report of shooting near the building of the Tomsk Polytechnic College on Smirnov Street came to the front office on Monday, February 24, at about 15:20 (11:20 Moscow time). No one was injured in the incident, the agency specified.

According to TASS, citing law enforcement data, the young men who staged the shooting, who work in a tire repair shop near the educational institution, did it "for fun."

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) for the region reported the start of an investigation into the incident.

"A procedural check is organized. At present, investigators of the IC of Russia are carrying out a set of verification measures", - said in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

In January, it was reported that in the village of Volochaevka-2 in the Jewish Autonomous Region (EAR), a seventh-grader fired an air pistol at his peers during a physical education lesson. According to Izvestiya's source, the pistol was bought by the teenager's mother for self-defense against stray animals.
