American leader Donald Trump thanked Apple for its plan to make a record $500 billion investment in the U.S. He published a corresponding post in the social network Truth on February 24.
"Apple just announced a record $500 billion investment in the United States of America. <...> Thank you, [CEO] Tim Cook and Apple!" - the president wrote.
According to Trump, this decision by the corporation would not have been possible without faith in what his administration is doing.
According to a statement on Apple's website, the company plans to spend $500 billion over the next four years. It is pointed out that this is the largest investment commitment in the corporation's history.
"Plans include a new plant in Texas, doubling the American Advanced Manufacturing Fund, a manufacturing academy and accelerated investments in artificial intelligence and silicon engineering," - told in Apple.
Earlier, on February 24, it became known that developers from the Russian Federation faced restrictions from Apple on access to tools for creating corporate business applications. Before that, the organization sent letters to companies using Enterprise certificates about the termination of their certificates in the middle of this month.
