In the Republic of Dagestan, a woman kept her daughter on a tether for three days. This was reported on February 24 by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of Russia in the region.
According to the investigation, the 15-year-old girl was held for three days at the place of residence of her relative, in the city of Kizilyurt. It is noted that the teenager "was deprived of free movement".
As specified by the agency "RIA Novosti" with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies, the girl was kept tied up by her mother.
"A criminal case has been opened over unlawful actions committed against a 15-year-old resident of the republic under part 2 of Article 127 and Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (unlawful deprivation of liberty and failure to fulfill the duties of upbringing a minor)," the website of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Republic said.
The circumstances of the incident are being clarified by the investigating authorities.
Earlier, on February 17, it was reported that in the city of Armavir, Krasnodar region, a woman stabbed her five-year-old son in the stomach because of his bad behavior. The child was hospitalized, the 27-year-old mother was detained. A criminal case has been opened over the incident.
