The most useful oils for the body are unrefined oils. Tatyana Solntseva, therapeutic nutritionist, candidate of medical sciences, researcher of FGBUN FIC Nutrition and Biotechnology, told about it on February 24.

The doctor specified that unrefined oils are added to salads and have a bright flavor, which sometimes people may not like. However, this is due to the high content of useful substances. Refined oils, on the other hand, which have undergone processing, lose some of their beneficial properties.

"A variety of oils in the diet is the basis of a healthy diet. The more types of fats we use, the better for our body. However, this does not mean that we should consume large amounts of unrefined, olive, liverwort and pumpkin oils. Their consumption should be moderate," she told Gazeta.Ru.

At the same time the most useful oil, according to the expert, does not exist. It is best to mix several types of oils in the diet, said the nutritionist.
