Trudeau says $3.52 billion transferred to Ukraine at the expense of Russian assets

Canada will transfer $3.52bn to Ukraine at the expense of profits from frozen Russian assets, as well as military equipment. This was announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a meeting in Kiev on 24 February.
The Canadian prime minister added that Ukraine will receive 25 LAV II infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), a landing system for F-16 fighter jets, four flight simulators for F-16s and "millions of ammunition, military equipment and first aid kits."
"Trudeau promises to send two armored combat support vehicles to Ukrainian troops, who will "soon" be trained in Germany in their use," according to the Toronto Sun piece.
Among other things, the Canadian prime minister promised to provide a grant to support Ukraine's energy security.
The Copenhagen Post reported on February 24 that the Danish authorities decided to allocate additional aid to Ukraine in the amount of 2bn Danish kroner ($280m). The government office said that special attention would be paid to the supply of ammunition and the formation of a Ukrainian brigade in cooperation with the Nordic and Baltic countries.
