The business program of the II Forum "Women for a Healthy Society" has been published

The II Forum "Women for a Healthy Society" will be held on March 4, 2025. The organizer is the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation together with the Roscongress Foundation. The Forum will be held under the auspices of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum under the Federation Council with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, FMBA of Russia.

During the Forum, experts will consider the prospects of AI as an assistant to improve public health and trust in these technologies in domestic healthcare; new stages in the implementation of national projects in Russia aimed at improving the quality of life and healthcare; modern approaches, initiatives and technologies that promote health literacy; new programs of medical check-ups, successful regional initiatives and modernization of health centers and many other issues. The central event of the Forum will be the plenary session "Women for a Healthy Society".

"Our health today largely depends on the extent to which we adhere to the principles of a healthy lifestyle and timely undergo the necessary preventive examinations to detect health problems at an early stage. In many respects, the culture of health saving, starting with the habit of being physically active and ending with proper nutrition, is formed in the family and comes primarily from women. Therefore, each of us is responsible both for our own health and for the health of future generations", - said the director of the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, chief freelance specialist in therapy and general medical practice of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oksana Drapkina.

On March 5, 2025, expert discussions of the Healthy Society project of the Roscongress Foundation will be held. Experts will discuss the development of digital medicine and cell technologies used in healthcare, issues of improving drug supply for patients with diabetes, modern approaches and technologies in medicine and health saving, measures of state support in the field of maternal and child health in Russia and many other topics.

The discussion "Availability of food innovations: how is the market of health-saving food growing?" will be devoted to the impact of nutrition on human health, the importance of introducing functional foods, as well as the issues of availability of food innovations, diet optimization, the role of government policy and promising developments in the field of food products to improve the health of the nation.

The session "Ensuring drug safety in Russia for a healthy society" will discuss what tasks are on the current agenda of the drug regulatory system to improve its mechanisms. "An important role in building such a sustainable system of drug safety is played by programs to support the domestic pharmaceutical industry. In recent years, we have been able to achieve a high level of import substitution, and Russia produces medicines to the highest quality standards," said Ekaterina Priyezheva, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The event will bring together specialists and representatives of business, public and political figures who are shaping the landscape of future healthcare in our country.
