The former first deputy mayor of Orel has been sentenced to compulsory labor because of the incident with the fall of ice on a teenager. This was reported on February 24 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICRF) in the Orel region.
"The investigation and the court found that as a result of untimely and ineffective activity of the defendant in the field of organization of management of apartment buildings in the city of Orel was not taken measures to determine the management organization for the management of apartment building number 3 on Gostinaya Street in the city of Orel", - stated on the website of the agency.
As a result of negligence on the part of the defendant was not timely cleaned roofs and eaves from icicles, ice and snow, which caused the fall of snow mass with ice on the teenager. The court sentenced him to two years of compulsory labor, as well as deprived him of the right to hold positions in public service and local government for a period of two years.
On February 11, the deputy head of Mytishchi city district administration was suspected of negligence, which led to the illegal issuance of a housing certificate to a family. The administration did not check the accuracy of information about the residence of 13 people in a one-room apartment, as well as information about the family's income. It turned out that the responsible persons did not send statements to the police and tax inspection. A criminal case was opened under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence").
