The III Forum of Future Technologies completed its work in Moscow


The III Future Technologies Forum dedicated to new materials and chemistry completed its work in Moscow. The event brought together scientists, representatives of the business community and government officials to discuss the strategic objectives of the development of the new materials and chemistry industry as the main component of the innovation economy for the long-term period.
"The development of individual innovative industries is impossible without their own independent material base - raw materials, technologies and business processes. The industries of new materials and chemistry provide the Russian economy with alloys, composites, polymers, basic substances and high-tech materials, and this is the industry that should be innovative in the first place", - noted Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Future Technologies Forum.
The Forum was attended by representatives of Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chad, Chad, China, France, France, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of South Ossetia, USA, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, UK, Vietnam, Honduras.
"The Future Technology Forum once again demonstrated a high level of interest from the scientific community, business and government, as well as representative international participation. The Forum gathered more than 1700 participants from Russia and 37 foreign countries, including more than 350 representatives of Russian and foreign business. The industry of new materials and chemistry has become the focus of a separate national project of technological leadership, as the innovative development of this area stimulates other sectors of the economy, providing competitive advantages. Steps to achieve such leadership were comprehensively discussed during the two days of the Forum," commented Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Future Technologies Forum.

The business program, structured in four thematic blocks, included 37 sessions with more than 230 speakers and moderators.
At the key sessions of the Forum, representatives of the largest Russian manufacturing companies, scientific institutions and public authorities discussed a wide range of projects in the field of new materials and chemistry, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in chemistry and materials science, quantum communications, the prospects of the new materials industry, including for the development of the Arctic territories, space and nuclear power, as well as measures to support research and experimental developments and their implementation in industrial production.
