A nuclear class will be formed for the first time in Transbaikalia

The first atomic class will be opened in the Zabaikalsky Krai. It will be formed on the basis of school No. 5 of the Aginsky Buryat District. There are only seven such classes in Russia.

According to the regional Minister of Education and Science Marina Sekerzhitskaya, quoted by ChitaMedia IA, the only school from Transbaikalia was among seven schools across Russia in the Rosatom Schools network. Under this project, the Aginsky school will create infrastructure and a class of educational organization of the Rosatom network.

In this class, training will be held on the math and science profile. That is, children will study math, physics, computer science, chemistry and biology in depth. Research and project activities are planned. For this purpose the class will be equipped with laboratory complexes. Teachers will take advanced training courses.

Earlier it was reported that in the Transbaikal Territory intend to create a regional endocrinology center and 10 schools of diabetes mellitus. The endocrinology center will be created on the basis of the regional clinical hospital. The Russian government has allocated 128.2 million rubles to the region to equip it and diabetes schools.
