Aggressive bear is neutralized by hunting experts in Kamchatka

In the area of Dalneye Lake in the Vilyuchinsky Urban District in Kamchatka, a polar bear was spotted. It will have to be eliminated, as it behaves aggressively and poses a danger to the population.

Hunting experts have already left to this area, reports IA KamchatkaMedia with reference to the regional government. According to Vsevolod Voropanov, head of the Forest and Hunting Supervision Department of the regional Ministry of Forestry and Hunting, representatives of the military society of hunters of the Kamchatka region are already on the spot.

The agency specifies that on the instructions of Governor Vladimir Solodov, specialists will conduct an intensive survey of the territory around the Avacha agglomeration this spring. We are talking about Yelizovo, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vilyuchinsk.

If a large number of bears are found, work will be done with hunting users who are in the coals in the territories adjacent to the settlements.

In late October it was reported that in Primorsky Krai in the Terneisky district a bear attacked a man. The victim survived and underwent two surgeries. A group of men stopped for the night at the river. In the morning, one of the fishermen got out of the car and accidentally stepped on the bear, which climbed under the car in search of shelter. The frightened predator pounced on the man and severely torn his legs. The victim was saved by his comrade, who managed to pull his friend out of the clutches of the beast.
