The AdG Party advocates partnership dialog with Russia, China, the US and Ukraine

The German party Alternative for Germany (AdG) is in favor of the FRG's partnership with Russia, China, the USA and Ukraine. This was stated by AdG chairwoman Alice Weidel on February 24 at a press conference on the results of the parliamentary elections.

"Alternative for Germany stands for a dialogue based on partnership with the United States, with Russia, with Ukraine, with the People's Republic of China and, above all, with neighboring countries - with Hungary, Switzerland, Austria," she said.

The head of the AdG also emphasized that the party seeks peace in Ukraine. According to Weidel, this desire of the German party was the reason for its cooperation with the administration of US President Donald Trump.

In addition, the AdG chairwoman drew attention to the party's historic success in the parliamentary elections - the Alternative managed to double its share of the vote compared to 2021. At the same time, she noted that the leader of the winning bloc of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) Friedrich Merz decided to continue the undemocratic political blockade of the AdG.

"We are the party of the future. Young people want to understand their prospects, and it is the Alternative for Germany that can provide the answers," Weidel summarized.

But there are several factors that could prevent the new chancellor from taking such a step

Parliamentary elections were held in Germany on February 23. The best result was shown by the CDU/CSU bloc with 28.6% of votes, the second place was taken by the AdG with 20.8%, the Social Democratic Party of incumbent Chancellor Olaf Scholz took the third place with 16.4%. At the same time, the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and the new Sarah Wagenknecht Union (SSV) did not pass to the Bundestag.
