Truck traffic will be restricted in the Pskov region in March

In the Pskov region will limit the movement of trucks from March 17. Such a measure is necessary to preserve the integrity of roads in the spring period.

The restriction will apply to vehicles with and without cargo on roads of regional importance. This is reported by the Pskov newswire. In case of violation, drivers will face penalties.

The period of restrictions will last until April 15.

In mid-February, the association of trucking companies "Gruzavtotrans" sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the State Duma with a request to cancel spring drying of roads in 2025. According to the industry representatives, market participants may face ruin, and in addition, product prices may rise.
