The man who threw a cat off the Swallow's Nest in Crimea said during interrogation that he did it because he wanted to pet the animal, but it was lashing out. Video of the interrogation published "Izvestia" on February 24.

The day before in social networks appeared a video in which an unknown man strokes a cat named Musya, who lived about 10 years on the territory of the "Swallow's Nest". Then, having made sure that no one was watching him, he threw her off a 40-meter cliff into the sea. The animal died.

"Started to fight back. "Ooh, lashing out. He, apparently, did not like that I took him in my arms," - explained the man.

Thanks to the prompt work of law enforcement officers, the man was found in Dzhankoy. He was wearing the same clothes, in which he was caught on CCTV cameras after the crime.

Earlier, on February 23, a representative of the press service of the state institution "Palace-Castle "Swallow's Nest" Tatyana Levashova told "Izvestia" that the security of the complex noticed the tragedy after the fact, reviewing footage from CCTV cameras. One of the first visitors to the Swallow's Nest turned out to be the animal killer.
