Sales of Sollers ST8 pickup truck of Uaz assembly started in Russia

Sales of all-wheel drive pickups Sollers ST8, production of which is established in Ulyanovsk, have started in Russia. The cost of the car in the standard configuration with a gasoline engine is 2.82 million rubles, more equipped version is 100 thousand rubles more expensive. The additional payment for a diesel unit for any configuration is also 100 thousand rubles. This is stated in the message of the company "Sollers", which was received by "Izvestia" on February 24.

Sollers ST8 is presented with a two-liter diesel engine with an output of 136 hp, which is produced at the Sollers engine plant in Elabuga. Alternatively, a version with a 2.4 liter gasoline engine with an output of 204 hp is offered. Both versions are equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, which is produced at the site in Zavolzhye.

The ground clearance of the pickup truck is 210 mm, the depth of the overcome ford is 0.8 meters. The truck is designed for loading up to 900 kg. There is a rear differential lock.

The basic equipment includes two airbags, full LED headlights, keyless entry and engine start system, multifunction steering wheel with leather trim, air conditioning, cruise control, multimedia system with a touch screen diagonal of 10.4 inches, six speakers, rearview camera, electric adjustment and heating of side mirrors, power windows, heated front seats, rear parking sensors and alloy wheels with a diameter of 18 inches.

Electric folding side mirrors, leather-trimmed seats with a center armrest on the rear row, surround-view camera system, front parking sensors and a power sunroof are available for a surcharge.

On January 30, Sollers announced the launch of production of Sollers ST6 and ST8 all-wheel drive pickup trucks using full-cycle technology at the UAZ industrial site in the Ulyanovsk region; these models are based on JAC.
