Vechernyaya Moskva editorial board strengthens cooperation with the Navy

On February 23, a delegation from Vechernyaya Moskvy visited the Admiral Essen, a sponsored frigate of the Order of Nakhimov of the 30th division of surface ships of the Black Sea Fleet. Editor-in-Chief of "VM" Alexander Kupriyanov signed an agreement on cooperation between the editorial office and the ship's crew.

"The ship's crew is improving their skills every day. We have serious, good professionals. Everyone is in his place and understands what is required of him, what depends on his actions," the officer says.

The 30th division of surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has a warm and long-standing friendship with the "Evening Moscow": 11 years of fruitful cooperation. To consolidate this cooperation, an agreement was signed on the development of patronage ties between the Editorial Board of the newspaper "Vechernaya Moskva" and the frigate of the Order of Nakhimov "Admiral Essen" of the division of surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's Black Sea Fleet.

"I am always amazed by two things: the power of the ship and the assemblage of the crew," emphasized Alexander Kupriyanov, editor-in-chief of the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper. - "When you visit the ship, see these people, talk to them, you realize who stands guard over the country's interests, who protects our border, you immediately become calm."

The delegation of Vechernyaya Moskvy congratulated the sailors on the Defender of the Fatherland Day. In their turn, the officers also presented the editor-in-chief of the newspaper with a gift - a sailor's uniform with a personal patch on the chest: "Kupriyanov A. I.".

"Admiral Essen" is the second frigate of Project 11356R in service with the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The patrol ship is part of the 30th division of surface ships. The ship's strike armament is based on 3S14 universal launchers. They are capable of using Kalibr, Onyx and Zirkon missiles (the latter were adopted into service only last year).
