On the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Svetlana Radionova, Head of Rosprirodnadzor, announced a nationwide campaign "A Toy for a Veteran" as part of the International Children and Youth Award "Ecology is Everyone's Business". Anyone can take part in the action. To do this, you need to make a soft toy with your own hands - Umka the polar bear - the symbol of the Rosprirodnadzor award. And together with good wishes send a parcel until April 1, 2025 to the ecopost of the prize "Ecology is Everyone's Business": 119017, Moscow, Bolshaya Ordynka Street, 29, building 1. All collected handicrafts will be delivered to veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in different parts of the country.

Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Svetlana Radionova noted that the Victory lives in each of us and it is our duty to take care of veterans. Years are rapidly distancing us from the events of the Great Patriotic War, but the memory of them should not fade. The action "Toy for a veteran", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, is called to give a bow to the winners, to thank them for life and freedom, to give strength and good spirits to the front-line soldiers, who are left so few.

Anyone can take part and heartily congratulate the heroes. Together with the soft toy Umka, the parcel should contain a letter or a postcard, tell about yourself and why you wanted to take part in the campaign. The toy can be sent to the eco-post office of the Prize at: 119017.
