Former head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev, convicted of bribery, has asked the court to remove his criminal record. This was reported by representatives of the Nikulinsky court of Moscow on February 24.

"The court received a petition of A.V. Ulyukayev on the removal of the criminal record," - quotes the message TASS.

It is noted that the petition will be considered on March 10.

In December 2017, Ulyukayev was found guilty of taking a bribe on a particularly large scale. Ulyukayev was sentenced to eight years in prison. In addition, he was imposed obligations to pay 130 million rubles to the state. In April 2022, the Moscow District Court of Tver granted his request for parole, and he returned home in May.
