Rich vocal and instrumental folk programs prepared in Moscow during the celebration of Pancake Day. This was reported on February 23 in the organizing committee of the cycle of urban street events "Moscow Seasons".

On March 1 and 2 guests of the festival "Moscow Pancake Week" will be able to attend performances of famous folk bands. On the stages of district festival sites of the project will go out musical groups performing traditional holiday songs. However, their repertoire also includes modern hits in the style of folk and neofolk, writes "Moscow 24".

Traditional tunes have always become an important part of Shrovetide celebrations. They were accompanied by sleigh rides and the burning of effigies, as well as festivities with round dances and eating pancakes.

At the same time, theater lovers will also find something to do. Their place of attraction will be Manezhnaya Square, where puppet shows and Shrovetide performances will be shown. You can visit it every day. On weekdays the performances are held from 11:00 to 21:00, on weekends - from 10:00 to 21:00.

In addition, there will be an immersive performance "Shrovetide in Zamoskvorechye", you can see it on March 1 and 2 on Tverskaya Square at 15:00 and 16:15, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

In addition, for the guests of the festival "Moscow Pancake" prepared ice shows, performances and craft workshops. Festive events will be held on Manezh and Tverskaya Square, in the amusement park "Dream Island" and on Tversky Boulevard, reports 360.ru.
