A man who threw a cat off the platform of the "Swallow's Nest" was detained in Crimea

In Crimea, police officers have detained a man who threw a cat off the observation deck of the Swallow's Nest complex, Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said on February 24.

"Police officers promptly detained a man who threw a cat off the observation deck of the Swallow's Nest," she wrote in her Telegram channel.

It turned out that the perpetrator of the incident is a 24-year-old native of St. Petersburg. Currently, law enforcers are finding out the motives for his actions.

Earlier, on February 23, a representative of the press service of the state institution "Palace-Castle "Swallow's Nest" Tatyana Levashova told "Izvestia" that the security of the complex noticed the tragedy after the fact, reviewing footage from CCTV cameras. One of the first visitors to the Swallow's Nest turned out to be the animal killer.
