Ulyanov pointed to the changed rhetoric of EU countries towards Russia

The European Union (EU) has stopped discussing the need to defeat Russia in the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by the Russian permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, on 24 February.

He noted that between 2022 and 2024, high-ranking officials and leaders of key EU countries repeatedly emphasized the importance of "victory" over the Russian state in the war zone in Ukraine,Gazeta.Ruadded.

"When was the last time you heard this narrative? Is it already forgotten?"," Ulyanov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, on February 20, US Vice President J.D. Vance, having analyzed the course of the special operation, said that European arms depots are almost empty due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and Kiev's victory can no longer be helped by any new arms supplies, as the Russian army has a massive advantage. He said that the administration of the previous US leader Joe Biden was to blame for the outcome of the conflict.
